Brown, White Powders Found In Solon Drug Arrest
A man stopped for failing to use his turn signal was arrested with suspected drugs.

SOLON, OH — A routine traffic stop turned into a possible drug arrest Nov. 11. Solon Police stopped a car as it got off US 422 at SR 91 south. The vehicle had been seen making an illegal turn onto SR 91.
Police stopped the car and when officers spoke with the driver they saw aluminum foil "tear offs" commonly used for drug abuse. There was also a plastic bag with a white powder tucked between the driver and center console of the car.
The driver, a 34-year-old Solon man, had a suspended driver's license and outstanding warrants for his arrest in Barberton.

When police searched the 34-year-old, they found a plastic bag with a white powder in it, and a one dollar bill with a brown powder on it. Both the baggie and the dollar bill were found inside the man's jacket.
The 34-year-old is being charged with driving under suspension, failure to signal when changing course and drug possession. The Barberton Police Department also placed a holder on the man for the outstanding warrant.
