Burglar Smashes Glass Door, Ransacks Solon Home
This is the second burglary in 10 days in the city.

SOLON, OH — For the second time in less than two weeks, a Solon home has been burgled. This time a house on Lisa Lane was broken into and ransacked, according to police records.
Police were called to a home on Lisa Lane at about 3:20 p.m. on April 11. A 17-year-old resident told officers that she had come home and discovered the rear sliding glass door had been broken down. The house had been ransacked.
Approximately $200 in cash and $500 in jewelry were taken from the house. The detective bureau is investigating the burglary.

This incident comes 10 days after a burglary at a Chagrin River Road home. A resident came home to find their garage door open.
Police rushed to the scene and cleared the house, not finding anyone inside. However, several guns and a computer were taken from the home.
