In late August, Solon police investigated another possible attempted burglary in the city. A resident reported seeing a suspicious man creeping around her property on Timberlane Drive. When confronted, the man said he was willing to do free lawn work. One of the homeowners then toured the property with the man.

Inside the house, another resident found a second man inside a bedroom. He said he was checking for leaks in the roof. The two were shuffled off the property and residents believe nothing was taken.
