Burglars Shatter Glass Door, Break Into Solon Home
Police said it's unclear what was taken, but several bedrooms were ransacked.
SOLON, OH — Police are investigating another burglary in Solon. This is the second burglary in a matter of days to hit a resident.
On November 1 at 7:30 p.m., a resident on Spatterdock Lane called police and said someone had shattered the glass rear door to their home. There were signs someone had then come into the house and rifled through the resident's bedrooms.
It's unclear exactly what was taken. The resident is trying to compile a list of missing items, police said. Solon detectives are still investigating the burglary.

Days earlier, on October 30, someone broke into a home on Woodsdale Lane. A resident met officers and said someone had gotten into his home and stolen two televisions. One of the televisions had been removed from the wall, the other stolen from the garage.
Police said the resident is preparing for an upcoming sale and had hired a person to help move items. That same person asked about purchasing the televisions, police said.
