Burglary At Solon Home, Televisions Stolen

Police said two televisions were stolen from a resident's home this week.

SOLON, OH — Two televisions were stolen from a home in Solon on Tuesday. The victimized resident suspects a contractor who was helping prep the house for a sale, according to police records.

The burglary was reported on Wednesday, October 30. Police were called to a home on Woodsdale Lane where a resident met officers and said someone had gotten into his home and stolen two televisions.

One of the televisions had been removed from the wall, the other stolen from the garage.

Investigators learned the resident is preparing for an upcoming sale and had hired a person to help move items. That same person asked about purchasing the televisions, police said.

Solon detectives continue to investigate the burglary.
