Burglary At Solon Home: TV, XBox Stolen

Someone forced the front door open on a Medhurst Avenue home before stealing property from inside.

SOLON, OH — A 57-year-old Solon resident was burgled on March 14. Police are investigating the incident after more than $827 of property was stolen from the home.

Police said the burglary took place at a house on Medhurst Avenue that is currently being rented. Medhurst Avenue is a street off of Miles Road, between US 422 and OH 91.

The robbery happened between 3:15 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. Someone forced their way into the woman's home by prying the front door open.

A television, XBox game console, two games and a silver necklace were stolen from the home. Collectively, the items are worth about $827.

The detective bureau is following-up on the incident.
