Car Drives Off Harper Road, Hits Mailbox: Police
A 44-year-old woman is accused of drinking and driving, going off the road and hitting a mailbox in Solon.

SOLON, OH — At 1:30 a.m. on June 16, police were sent to check on a car that was seen sitting off Harper Road, spinning its tires.
When officers arrived to the 5200 block of Harper, they saw the car. The driver, a 44-year-old woman, was inside the vehicle.
The windows of the car were foggy. The woman told police she hadn't been able to see the road properly and had driven off the road. When going off Harper, the woman hit a mailbox, police discovered.

Police said they smelled alcohol on the driver. Officers said they also saw signs of possible impairment.
The driver said he had two drinks before driving. Field tests were performed and the driver was then taken into custody, on suspicion of operating a vehicle impaired.

The woman was taken to Solon Correction Center and took a breath test, blowing a .156.
