Catholic Credit Union Robbed In Garfield Heights
The FBI is asking the public for help identifying the suspected robber.
GARFIELD HEIGHTS, OH — The Ohio Catholic Federal Credit Union in Garfield Heights was robbed this month. The FBI are now asking the public for help finding the suspected robber.
On April 2, at about 4 p.m., a man walked into the credit union on Rockside Road. He was carrying a demand note in one hand. When he got to the teller's counter, he held the note to his chest. The note read: "Give me your money, no dye pack, do not set off alarms."
The teller complied with the man's demands and handed over the cash. The suspect then ran out of the bank.

The suspect is a white man in his early 50s, according to the FBI. He stands about 6 feet 1 inches tall. He weighed approximately 180 pounds and had a short, sandy white beard. During the robbery he wore a black Chicago White Sox jacket, a red hat, dark jeans, grey sneakers and a beige bandana obscuring part of his face.
The FBI is asking the public for help identifying the suspects. Tips can be provided to the Cleveland Division of the FBI, the Garfield Heights Police Department or Crime Stoppers. Tips can be anonymous and reward money is available.
