Cell Phone Stolen When Suspect Smashes Car Window In Solon
Police said the suspect smashed the rear passenger window on a vehicle to get inside.

SOLON, OH — Someone broke into a Solon resident's car, smashing a window, and then stealing their phone and other items.
The car was parked at the Park East Apartments when the break-in occurred. At 5 a.m. on Tuesday, the resident went to her vehicle and found it damaged. She called police to report the incident.
The vehicle had been parked in the Park East garage, near the leasing office for the complex. The suspect smashed a rear passenger window to get into the car. A Tracphone was taken, and the woman is trying to determine if other items were also stolen.

The woman told police she parked her car in the garage at approximately 10 p.m. on Monday night. That means the break-in occurred between 10 p.m. Monday and 5 a.m. Tuesday morning.
