Cheap Cabaret Night Helps Solon Music Program
Residents can check out an evening of cabaret, and take part in a silent auction, for as little as $12. All proceeds support an SHS group.

SOLON, OH — Solon High School's auditorium will play host to a true blue cabaret on Sept. 16. The school's show choir, Music in Motion, will put on its annual fundraiser event Cabaret Night that night. Attendees will be able to enjoy coffee and dessert with their entertainment.
The event will begin at 7 p.m. on Saturday. Doors will open at 6 p.m. There are two ticket options for the event: $18 dress circle seats and $12 upper circle seats. Both options come with complimentary desserts and coffee.
All funds from the event will help support Music in Motion's competition fees and travel expenses. There will also be an auction to support the group. “Cabaret Night is a showcase of the individual talents of our 50 singer/dancers and 16 band members,” said show choir advisor and SHS music teacher Gary Lewis in a statement. “The remainder of the year is spent working with the group as a whole, so it is beneficial for students to see how their individual talent fits within the overall complexion of Music in Motion. This event provides an amazing evening of artistry and talent on our stage.”
