Cocaine Found In Suit Jacket During Solon Traffic Stop: Police

The owner of the suit now faces charged for aggravated drug possession and operating a vehicle impaired.

SOLON, OH — In a four-day span, Solon Police seized both cocaine and methamphetamine from drivers heading through the city. On May 3, police found a small amount of cocaine stuffed into a driver's suit jacket pocket.

Officers stopped a car at about 2:15 a.m. for making an illegal turn on SR 91. The driver, a 46-year-old Twinsburg man, showed signs of impairment, police said. The man was put through a series of field sobriety tests and then arrested.

The 46-year-old was taken to Solon Jail, where he refused to take a breath test. Police searched the man and found the cocaine in his suit, according to police reports.
