Residents can meet the men and women that patrol their city over a steaming cup o'joe.

SOLON, OH — Solon Police will once again take part in a national movement designed to bring together communities and the officers that protect and serve them. National Coffee With a Cop Day is being held throughout Northeast Ohio communities, including Solon on Oct. 4.
Officers will be posted at Starbucks Coffee, 34182 Aurora Rd., from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Residents will be able to ask questions on any topic they wish, or simply chat about life as a cop.
There is no agenda for the event and residents can discuss any issue they wish with the officers. (To stay up to date on local stories, subscribe to the Patch Solon newsletter. As news breaks and the story develops, you will be the first to receive updates from Patch.)
