Counterfeit Money Used To Rip Off Woman In Solon
Police said cash labelled "Motion Picture Use Only" was used to buy a piece of jewelry this week.

SOLON, OH — A woman was swindled during a transaction in Solon, police said. Someone used counterfeit bills to buy a piece of jewelry from her, and she only discovered the fraud later on.
The theft happened Monday, police said. The woman — who is actually an Aurora resident that works in Solon — was selling a ring on the website Let It Go. A buyer had expressed interest and two set a price and agreed on a meet-up.
When the two met, the buyer (a man) handed over three $50 bills and one $20 bill. The transaction was done, the woman thought.
