Crazy Driving Gets Man Arrested In Solon

Police found weed and an open container of alcohol in his car.

SOLON, OH — One way to draw the attention of a police officer is to park against the flow of traffic on the street. Another is to pull into a driveway, turn around and then immediately pull into another driveway and turn around again. A 38-year-old Garfield Heights man did all of the above before he was arrested for driving impaired last month.

Police saw a car parked the wrong way on Sunnywood Drive at about 11:30 p.m. on April 24. When the officer turned around to investigate the vehicle, the car started to pull away. The cop watched as the vehicle pulled into a driveway, turned around, and then proceeded to another driveway and turned around again.

To the surprise of no one, the officer decided to initiate a traffic stop. The 38-year-old driver had a suspended license and there were also signs that he was impaired. The officer decided to arrest the man.
