Credit Cards Stolen From Solon Panera Diners
Two women had their wallets stolen while they were at the coffee shop and bakery. Their credit cards were used at some local stores.

SOLON, OH — Detectives are looking into a credit card theft that occurred at Panera Bread this month, police said on Thursday. Two women had their credit cards stolen and then used in some local stores. Surveillance footage of the incident is being sought by police.

Unauthorized Use, Jan. 11 — Police stopped a Dodge Neon on Solon Boulevard because the car had been entered as stolen. The driver, a 23-year-old Solon woman, was charged with unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. The car was then turned over to its owner, a 70-year-old Cleveland man.

Theft, Jan. 12 — Two women had their wallets stolen while they were at Panera Bread on Kruse Drive. An unidentified woman removed the wallets from the women's purses. Neither woman noticed their wallets being stolen. The women's credit cards were used at nearby stores. The theft was caught on Panera's surveillance cameras and Solon detectives are investigating the incident.
OVI, Jan. 14 — A 26-year-old Solon man was arrested for driving impaired on Cromwell Drive. The man was seen driving 67 mph in a 35 mph zone on Pettibone. Police then pulled the man over and saw signs of impairment. The man took a breath test and blew a .153.

OVI, Jan. 16 — Police were called to an accident on Harper Road. A 54-year-old Garfield Heights man was determined to be responsible for the incident and was also found to be impaired, police said. An open bottle of vodka was found in his car. He was taken to a local hospital where he refused to provide a urine sample.
