Crossing Guards Needed In Solon

The positions are hired through the police department and will last through the school year.

SOLON, OH — The city of Solon is in need of crossing guards for the 2018-2019 school year, the police department announced on Facebook. There is a need for at least two crossing guards, at the intersections of Solon Boulevard and Linden, and Inwood and Hudson.

Crossing guards work two shifts, one in the morning and one in the afternoon. The first shift runs from 7:30 a.m. to 9 a.m. The second shift runs from 2:20 p.m. to 3:50 p.m.

The positions are part-time and pay $12.50 an hour, according to a post from the Solon Police Department. Questions about being a crossing guard should be directed to Solon Police.
