SOLON, OH — A special digital bookmobile will make a stop at Solon Library on July 15.

The 53-foot long digital bookmobile will bring interactive stations, reading devices and expert help to the branch from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. On-board the bus, guests will find nearly every conceivable way to digitally enjoy literature.

"There are devices, touch screen TVs, tablets, and more. It's a wonderful set up and we'll have trained staff on-board to help people from start-to-finish," said Joe Skelley, OverDrive's digital bookmobile expert.

Skelley described the library's digital access as a second library that never closes and is always at your fingertips.

He said guests that are having trouble making use of, or generally understanding, one of their devices can bring it to the bookmobile and get free help from trained staff. The bookmobile is ADA accessible, so anyone will be able to come aboard and check out the set up.

Getting expert help on devices and checking out the ways literature can come to a library card holder's home aren't the only reasons to check out the digital bookmobile.

"We have a ton of fun giveaways," Skelley said. "We have pens, pop sockets, tote bags, buttons ... so other than finding out about cool, free media guests can pick up some free swag."
