Do You Know A Solon Cop? Community Survey Asks
The Solon Police Department is asking residents to fill out a survey on their experiences with officers.

SOLON, OH — The Solon Police Department has released its 2018 Community Survey to residents. Conducted via SurveyMonkey online, the questions range from "Do you know a police officer by name?" to "Do officers appear friendly when on duty?"
There are also areas where residents can provide suggestions for how the department can improve its services.

Residents that want a more personal interaction with officers have a few paths to pursue. First, they could take part in one of the department's Citizens Police Academies, a nine-week program that gives participants a peek behind the department's blue curtain. Second, there will be a National Night Out. On August 7, the seventh annual crime prevention and safety fair will return to the city. Besides demonstrations and learning sessions, there's also food and activities for children. Learn more about the event by clicking here.
