SOLON, OH — A man was killed in a motor vehicle accident on Friday morning in Solon, police say. Officers have identified the victim of the crash as Daniel Tymoc, 47 of Cleveland.
A caller reported seeing an accident on their way to work at 5:55 a.m. Police found a single-vehicle accident on US 422 east, between Harper Road and SR 91, in the woods south of the freeway. The male driver, the only person in the vehicle, had been thrown from the car and was found deceased.
Police say the man's vehicle, a grey 2006 Nissan Altima, had been ripped into two parts, front and rear, after it hit several trees and rolled over. In a release, police say they do not yet know why the vehicle came off the road and ended up in the woods.
