Drug Trafficker Passes Out Drunk in Car in Solon, Gets Himself Arrested
Police found six individually wrapped plastic baggies containing 89.5 grams of marijuana and a digital scale in the man's car.

SOLON, OH - A possible drug dealer passed out drunk behind the wheel of his black Kia last week. Police arrested Landies Cawthon, 23, of Cleveland, for OVI. He blew a .174 after he was taken to jail.
Callers reported that a man had passed out behind the wheel of his car at the intersection of Solon Road and State Route 91. When officers arrived, the car was blocking traffic and police could see a man slumped over the wheel and the car in drive.
Officers roused Cawthon and helped him get out of the car. There were open containers of alcohol in the car and police say Cawthon had obvious signs of impairment. Police arrested him and took him to jail where he agreed to take a breath test. Cawthon blew a .174.

During an inventory of his car, police found a Ruger .380 pistol in the glove box. They also found a backpack with six individually wrapped plastic baggies containing 89.5 grams of marijuana and a digital scale. There was also $1,031 in the center console of the car.
Cawthon was charged with OVI, Prohibited BAC, Impeding Traffic, No Seatbelt, Trafficking in Drugs, Having Weapons under Disability, Improper Handling Firearms in a Motor Vehicle, Carrying Concealed Weapons, Open Container in a Motor Vehicle, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
