Drunk Driver Goes Wrong Way On SR 91, Hits Car, Injures Person
Police said the driver was taken to Solon Jail and blew a .170 on a breath test.

SOLON, OH — A drunk driver went the wrong way on SR 91 and hit a car, police said. The driver has been arrested for aggravated vehicular assault for injuring a passenger in the car that was hit.
The crash happened at 3:20 p.m. on Dec. 15, Solon police said. The accident happened near Hanover Woods Trails.
The drunk driver was going south when they drifted toward the north lane and began driving down the road on the curb. A car going north on SR 91 was hit by the drifting car, police said.

When officers arrived they found the wrong-way driver was impaired and arrested him.

The driver, a 63-year-old from Twinsburg, was taken to Solon Jail, where he took a breath test. He blew a .170, police said. He has been charged with operating a vehicle impaired, prohibited BAC, left of center, and aggravated vehicular assault.
