SOLON, OH — Police stopped a drunken driver on US 422, according to police records. The driver had no car insurance and blew a .175 on a breath test.

An officer patrolling US 422, at 1 a.m. on Tuesday, watched a car drift out of its lane three times before trying to stop the vehicle. After putting on the cop car's emergency lights, the drunken driver pulled onto the berm and kept driving, police said.

The car eventually stopped and when an officer spoke with the driver he could smell mouthwash. The driver could not find his license and told the officer he did not have car insurance. He then found his Ohio ID card.
