Drunken Man Yelled Obscenities At Police: Solon Blotter
According to police, the man was walking in the middle of the road and refused to cooperate with officers.
SOLON, OH — A drunken man yelling obscenities at police officers was arrested Thursday morning, according to Solon Police.
At approximately 12:30 a.m. on Thursday, a woman called Solon Police and could be heard shouting at someone to give her back her "car and phone" and may have screamed "get off me." Police believe the woman was yelling at a man.
Officers were sent to US 422 but were unable to find the caller. However, near Harper Road, they saw a man walking in the middle of the road, with torn pants. Police activated their overhead lights and tried to stop the man.

The man used obscenities to tell police he did not want to talk with them, then continued walking down the street, according to police. Officers tried to explain the 911 call they had received, but the man refused to stop shouting, police added.
Solon Police said the man refused to show officers his identification and continued to shout. Officers determined the man was intoxicated, based on the smell of alcohol emanating from him and his behavior, and he was arrested, police said.

The arrested man, a 23-year-old from Cleveland, had fresh scratches on his left leg and face, according to police records. When the man was taken to the Solon Correction Center, officers found a pair of women's underwear in his one of his pants pockets.
Police said they are charging the man with obstructing official business, disorderly conduct by intoxication and walking in the road.
