Earth Day Program Announced In Solon
The day's activities will include a tour of the water reclamation plant, a mulch sale, a shredding event, and more.

SOLON, OH - The Solon Service Department and the Water Reclamation Department will be the focus of the city's upcoming Earth Day celebration on April 30. Both departments will host Earth Day activities on April 30, a post on the city's website says.
The Water Reclamation Plant will host an open house during Earth Day, giving residents a chance to see how wastewater recovery and storm management works within Solon. The open house will include guided tours, a tree seedling giveaway, educational information, and a community shred of up to three bankers boxes per resident. The Water Reclamation Plant is located at 6951 Cochran Road.
The Service Department will be selling mulch and accepting electronics for disposal. Bags can be bought for $2 for residents, and $1 for elderly residents. The department will load the mulch into your vehicle for you. There's a limit of 10 bags per resident. The Service Department is located at 6600 Cochran Road.
