Employee Stole Coworker's Car Keys, Took Cash: Solon Police

Police said the staffer managed to snatch $62, in cash, from their coworker's wallet.

SOLON, OH — A King Nut employee was fired after they reportedly snatched their coworker's car keys, went into their vehicle, and stole $62 from the glovebox.

Police said they were called to the gourmet nuts and snacks company on October 29, at about 2:45 p.m. Officers spoke with the employee whose car was broken into.

The employee told officers that her keys had been stolen and cash was taken from her wallet, which she kept in the glovebox. The company had video surveillance of the incident, which they gave to police.

The employee that went into the woman's car was fired. Police have also issued arrest warrants for the ex-staffer for theft and vehicle trespassing.
