On Saturday, April 28, a selection of 2011 award winning documentaries will be shown from 4:00 to 6:00PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM. The 4:00 PM block begins with “Foi et Joie/Faith and Joy”, winner of the Best Ohio Documentary directed by Akron resident Andrew Marquard. This is followed by Best Cinematography winner “Among Giants” directed by Chris Cresci of Chapman University, Orange California. The 7:00 PM block begins with the Emerging Filmmaker winner “Finding Fathers” directed by France Costrel from Normandy, France, followed by “Between the Harvest” directed by Scott Drucker. “Between the Harvest” is about the harvesting of sea turtle eggs in Costa Rica and is the winner of the Environmental Award.
