Fall Budget Bin Sale Coming To Solon Wednesday

The fundraiser will support scholarships for Solon High School seniors.

SOLON, OH — The Fall Budget Bin sale will start with consignment day Wednesday and run through Oct. 24. The six-day sale is put together by the Solon Council of PTAs and the sales help fund scholarships awards given to seniors at Solon High School each year.

The sale is held in the Arthur Road School gym. New and gently used fall and winter clothing, along with toys, household items, baby items, holiday décor, books and videos, sporting equipment and more will be on-sale.

The Louis Gazeley Scholarship Fund, through which the Solon PTA Council awards college scholarships to Solon High seniors, will get about 50 percent of the proceeds from the sale. The scholarship fund is also supported by the spring sale.

Budget bin consignment day is Oct. 18 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sale days will then be held:

  • Oct 19 from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
  • Oct. 20 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
  • Oct. 21 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. (30 percent off prices)
  • Oct. 23 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. (30 percent off prices)
  • Oct. 24 from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. ($5 bag day sale)
