Fiery Revenge: Roommate Dumps Hot Sauce On Solon Man

SOLON, OH — Roommate drama may have escalated into the theater of the absurd last week. That's because a 20-year-old says his ex-roommate pushed open his bedroom window and dumped hot sauce on him while he was napping.

The man told police he was asleep in his bedroom when someone dumped hot sauce on him and his couch. He woke up during the incident and saw the suspect's arm. He told police it was African-American arm. Then he sat up and saw an African-American man running away from his window.

The man said he thinks the suspect is his ex-roommate. He said their relationship had a spicy ending.

In a twist of fate, while police issued a warrant for the arrest of the man's ex-roommate, officers also discovered that the 20-year-old had a warrant for his arrest for disorderly conduct. The man was then arrested, police said.
