Fired Worker Returns To Solon Company, Harasses Woman

Police said the man touched the woman inappropriately and threatened to "do something" before he left the building.

SOLON, OH — After being fired by a Solon company, a man returned to his former workplace, without permission, and harassed an employee, touching her inappropriately, police said.

The incident happened Feb. 21 at approximately 11:30 p.m., according to police records. Officers were sent to a business on Davis Industrial Parkway, where they met with a manager at the company.

The manager said that an employee that had been terminated the week before had come back to the business and gotten inside the building, without permission. The ex-employee interacted with his former coworkers and then approached a woman at the business.

Police were told the ex-employee touched the woman inappropriately, and the incident was captured on surveillance footage.

The suspect was seen grabbing the woman by her coat and pulling her as she tried to walk away. The man said he would "do something," which the woman felt was a threat. However, another employee then walked into the room and the suspect fled the building.

Investigators were told the man was seen driving around the company's parking lot later.

An arrest warrant has been issued for the terminated employee, police said.
