Goldfish Swim School hosts SAFETY DAY May 16

In honor of National Water Safety Month, Goldfish Swim School will host Safety Day, a FREE community event, on May 16 from 2 - 5 p.m. at its aquatics facility in Warrensville Heights.

Children will learn water safety skills hands-on at the event’s in-pool skill stations where they can practice treading water, boat safety and learn what to do when a swimmer needs to be saved. Attendees can also meet Olympic swimmer and Gold Medalist Diana Munz between 3 - 4 p.m. The event will also feature:

· Free Family Swim

· Life jacket fittings by the U.S. Coast Guard

· CPR education station

· Water safety games & prizes

· Appearance by “Bubbles” the Goldfish mascot

· Face painting and crafts

· Appearance by University Hospitals Rainbow Safety Squad

· “Hydration Station” with free refreshments

· And more!
