Health Expo, Chili Cook-Off Coming Back To Solon
Nothing says fall like a bowl of chili. The cook-off will return to the city September 26 at the Solon Community Center.

SOLON, OH — The annual UH Bedford Senior Network Expo & Soup/Chili Cook-Off will return to Solon on September 26. The free expo is open to the public and fun for all ages. There is a small fee for the soup and chili cook-off.
Some 60 organizations will be doing discussions and demonstrations of various services for older residents during the expo. There will also be health screenings and giveaways for attendees. Flu shots will also be available during the event. The expo runs from 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. in the Solon Community Center.
From 11:15 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. the Act II singers will perform. The soup and chili cook-off will begin after the performance. Attendees will be the judges for the event, rating the foods they try. For $4, attendees can all the soups and chili they desire.

Tickets for the event will include a salad, bread, dessert and a beverage.
A flyer for the event says to win door prizes, the winner must be present at the Expo.
