Heroin Found After Car Chase In Solon, Police Say
Officers said they were pursuing a fleeing car when the driver appeared to throw something out of the window.
SOLON, OH — Heroin was thrown from a vehicle during a police car chase on Tuesday afternoon.
While on patrol near Cochran Road, an officer ran a registration check on a vehicle. He learned the owner of the car had an active felony warrant for his arrest. The officer put on his lights and tried to pull the car over.
Instead of stopping, the other car sped up and flew south down Cochran. Officers pursued the car into Glenwillow, and during the chase the pursued driver tossed several items from his vehicles.
