Hey Solon: What Business Do You Want To See Move In?

SOLON, OH — On Wednesday, Patch sent out an innocuous Facebook post asking various communities which businesses they'd like to see come to town. The response to that inquiry was massive and wide-ranging, and Solon was no exception.

The most common response Soloners provided was Trader Joe's, the Pasadena-based grocery chain that offers discounted prices on high-quality produce and meats. After that, the responses were all over the place.

Some called for a new sports bar, or a restaurant that could last more than three months in the city. Someone else asked for a hip spot that could play host to teenagers after middle and high school classes ended.

One comment called on the city to add a Legacy Village type of development and create a vibrant town center.
