Immigration, DACA Protest In Chagrin Falls On Saturday
A silent protest will be held in Triangle Park at 1 p.m. on April 14. The protest is designed to call on Rep. David Joyce to take action.

CHAGRIN FALLS, OH — On Saturday, DACA recipients and other immigrants will gather in Triangle Park and put on a silent, theatrical production. The protest performance will highlight how immigrants contribute to American culture, according to America's Voice Ohio.
The protest is designed to call out Representative David Joyce, Republican from Ohio's 14th District, who once called Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) an "abuse of executive power." He did add that he wanted Congress to come up with a better, bipartisan legislative solution to immigration woes.
The DACA recipients, also known as Dreamers, want Joyce to take action to protect them and other immigrants in the U.S. That's why they're putting on their protest display, which will include leaving pairs of shoes representing deported Dreamers throughout Triangle Park.
