Singh was arrested on June 13 when he went to his uncle's house and refused to leave. The uncle repeatedly asked Singh to leave, and when the 35-year-old refused, the uncle contacted police. Instead of keeping the rage in-family, Singh refused orders from police to leave the home and was arrested.

He was released from Solon Jail later that day and Singh went looking for his wife. He thought she was at his uncle's house, so he got a baseball bat and returned to the address where he had just been arrested. Again, the uncle called police and again Singh was arrested.
