Intoxicated Man Urinates In Front Of Solon Traffic
The man told police he had drank "a lot." So much, in fact, that it inspired him to urinate while facing cars on Solon Road.

SOLON, OH — Police arrested a man for urinating in full view of traffic on Solon Road last week. Read more about that incident and others in the police blotter below.
Theft, Planet Fitness: A 20-year-old woman's purse was stolen from Planet Fitness, 33605 Aurora Rd on May 20. The woman had placed the purse in a locker while she was working out, but did not secure the locker. The purse had her driver's license, other identification, credit cards, and prescriptions inside. Her debit card was later used at a Sunoco gas station. The detective bureau is investigating.
Disorderly Conduct, Solon Road: A man was walking along Solon Road when he decided he had found the perfect place to pee. While holding a bicycle up, the man urinated while facing traffic. Police saw the man and confronted him. He told officers he had been drinking "a lot" and was unsteady on his feet, smelled of alcohol, and had slurred speech. Herman Whitfield, 46 of Bedford Heights, was arrested for Disorderly Conduct.

Theft, Parkside Trail: A Parkside Trail resident called police to say he had discovered a purse on his tree lawn the morning of May 21. The purse was taken to its owner, another Parkside Trail resident, who told police it had been in her unlocked car overnight. Nothing was missing from the purse. Then another resident, this time on Brainard Road, told police someone had removed items from her unlocked car in her driveway. There are no suspects.
Attempted Breaking & Entering, Emshoff Excavating: The owner of Emshoff Excavating reported that someone removed a screen from an office window, broke the window, but somehow failed to get into the building. The detective bureau is investigating.

Theft, Champs Sports: A pair of thieves hit Champs Sports, 33345 Aurora Rd., on May 22. The two were acting suspiciously and were spotted by store staff. One of the thieves then pulled out a cell phone and started yelling angrily into it before both left the store. Surveillance video shows the thief stuffing t-shirts down the front of his pants before leaving the store. The shirts are valued between $120 and $160; the officer will follow up on the theft.
