Intoxicated Woman Found Sitting In Unlocked Car In Solon
Police said the owner of the car had no idea who the woman was.
SOLON, OH — A woman was trying to open cars parked at the Homewood Suites last week, Solon police said. Officers discovered the woman was intoxicated and took her into custody.
A little before 11 p.m. on August 31, callers told police a woman was pulling on car doors in the Homewood lot. When officers arrived, the woman was sitting in the passenger seat of a car. She told police she had dropped her wallet through the car's open window and was just retrieving it.
The woman got out of the car and began staggering around, police said. She appeared to be intoxicated and she didn't have any identification on her. She told officers she left her ID in her hotel room.

Officers told the woman they were going to take her into custody and she began walking away. She spilled her purse's contents onto the parking lot surface and kept walking, according to Solon police. Officers had to stop the woman from leaving.
Police sifted through her purse's contents and found her identification. The 31-year-old Pennsylvania woman is being charged with disorderly conduct.
