Key Bank In Solon Robbed On Monday, Police Search For Suspect

Investigators have released images of the suspected robber to the public, hoping someone can identify him.

SOLON, OH — The Key Bank on Miles Road was robbed on Monday afternoon, police announced. No one was hurt during the incident.

The robbery happened at 4:20 p.m. A man came into the bank and walked up to a teller. He passed a note over demanding money. The teller handed over the cash and the man left the bank. No weapon was seen during the robbery.

"There is no reason to believe there is any ongoing risk to the Solon community," the police department said in a press release.

A "hold up" alarm was triggered at the bank, but the suspect was gone before officers arrived. The suspect was last seen walking east on Miles Road.

The suspect is a white man, approximately 20 to 30 years old. He was wearing grey and burgundy striped Polo hoodie and jeans.

Police said if additional information is discovered it will be shared at a later date with the public.
