Learn About How Solon Police Are Trained At Upcoming Event

An upcoming Community Conversations series will discuss how Solon police are trained.

SOLON, OH — The Solon police will host a community meeting on how officers are trained.

The meeting will be held online on Jan. 28. Participants can join the event via Zoom. Sgt. Courtenay Perkins will lead the session.

"This short informative presentation will provide insights on how your police officers are trained in order to better to serve our community!" the department said on social media.

Perkins' presentation will start at 6 p.m. After he finishes, there will be a general forum for engagement and conversation.
