LSD, Marijuana Found During Solon Traffic Stop: Police

Police said they stopped a car that couldn't stay in its lane on Sunday morning, and found drugs in the vehicle.

SOLON, OH - LSD and five grams of marijuana were found during a traffic stop in Solon on Sunday morning.

Police stopped a car on Harper Road a little after 9 a.m. Officers said they saw the car drifting out of its lane. As the car pulled to a stop, the driver hit a nearby curb, police said.

Officers spoke with the driver, a 27-year-old from Lorain, and smelled burnt marijuana. The driver said he had smoked weed earlier in the day and still had some marijuana with him.

Police searched the driver and found five grams of marijuana, as well as a container of marijuana "dabs" (highly concentrated marijuana extracts). The driver was taken into custody on suspicion of drug abuse and marked lanes violations.

Officers searched the man's car and found a single dose of LSD between the driver's seat and center console.
