Meth Found In Car Stopped By Solon Police
According to police, they stopped a car driving erratically at 2 a.m. and took three people into custody.
SOLON, OH — Methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia were found in a car stopped by Solon Police on Wednesday morning.
During a routine patrol, an officer stopped a car on Bainbridge Road for driving erratically at 2 a.m. The driver had an out-of-state driver's license, which had been suspended, police said.
Police pulled the driver from the car and placed him in custody. They then talked to the three other people in the vehicle. The front seat passenger lied to police, giving a false name, officers said. That man was also taken into custody.

When asked if he had property in the car, the man said he had an orange bag with a pipe, scales, and 7.2 grams of methamphetamine. Police found the bag and all its contents.
The other two passengers were in the backseat. They were questioned by police. One of the passengers had an active warrant with Bainbridge Police and was handed over to that department.

The final passenger was given a ride home by police.
Officers then searched then now-empty vehicle. They found another .6 grams of methamphetamine.
The driver, a 38-year-old Arizona man, has been charged with driving under suspension, drug possession, and not wearing a seatbelt. The front seat passenger, a 22-year-old Aurora man, has been charged with possession of drugs, possession of drug abuse instruments, possession of drug paraphernalia, obstructing official business and not wearing a seatbelt.
