Two years ago, several mayors in the 6th House District made the tough decision to not endorse in the race for State Representative. Two weeks ago, Solon’s Susan Drucker became the first mayor to reverse that position and offer her support for 2014. Today, we’re adding a SECOND mayor to that list.
I’m proud to announce that Moreland Hills Mayor Susan Renda has joined the team and given us her endorsement! Mayor Renda is now the third mayor in three weeks to stand with us in this fight. Her support will be vital as we try to win one of the cities that eluded us last cycle. I’m very excited to have her on board. Like Mayor Drucker of Solon and Mayor Alai in Broadview Hts, Mayor Renda has worked hard to keep her community strong in a time of unprecedented funding cuts from the gang in Columbus. I’m ready to work with her to keep Moreland Hills and the other 17 communities in our district strong and thriving!
