NEO 5K GLO Run Set for Oct. 15
The Solon Chamber of Commerce is inviting runners who want to "light up the night" to join the race.

SOLON, OH - Glow sticks and big crowds usually mean there's a party going down, and on Oct. 15 in Solon, there will be, in a sense.
The Solon Chamber of Commerce and the Cleveland Clinic Family Health Center recently announced the NEO 5K GLO. Runners in the event will be given glowing arm bands, bracelets and necklaces. While the event will start at 7 p.m., participants of all ages are invited to join.
Admission is $30 before race day and $35 on race day. Besides the glowing swag, participants will also get live chip timing, a T-shirt and a pint glass. The race will start and finish at the stadium and run/walk through the surrounding neighborhood. Spectators are encouraged to attend for free.

There will an after race party held at Pacos Taco, 6140 SOM Center Rd., from 8 to 10 p.m. After the finish, participants are encouraged to bring their pint glass for a free beverage. Chips, salsa and live music will be included.
Solon High School Stadium is located 33600 Inwood Drive, Solon.
