New Italian Restaurant To Open In Solon

SOLON, OH — Rose Italian Kitchen, a new restaurant from Burntwood Tavern's founder, will open in Solon on April 30. This will the first in a possible chain of restaurants that could soon populate Northeast Ohio, according to the company.

The first Rose Italian Kitchen will be located on SOM Center Road, just south of I-422. The restaurant will be housed in the former Pacos Tacos location. Massive renovations have been done to recreate the space and make it more suitable for Rose Italian Kitchen.

“We are humbled by how the city embraced Burntwood Tavern, and we look forward to sharing this new
experience with our guests that’s welcoming of both friends and families.” said Bert Adams, the founder and CEO of Burntwood. “While remaining faithful to the heritage of Italian-influenced foods, we will be bringing our own straight-forward interpretations to the seasonal food and drink menus that make them intriguing, yet approachable."

There will a pair of pre-opening celebrations on April 27 and 28 that will be open only to family and friends of the restaurant. Reservations are now being accepted at the restaurant.

The menu will focus on traditional, made-from-scratch Italian dishes, according to a press release from the company. Soon after the opening, a family-style option will be added to the menu.

The name of the restaurant is an homage to Adams' wife's grandmother, Rosina “Rose” Gentile.

“Rose passed from this world and left for us the legacy we most treasure -- her love for family, food and friends,” Adams said. “We share her love and passion for serving great food in an atmosphere where every person is treated as they were guests in our own home."
