Police said they also found marijuana and replica weapons on a group of suspects that tried to flee officers.

SOLON, OH — Multiple weapons, Oxycodone and marijuana were found after police chased down a group of suspects on Sunday.

Officers got word that a stolen truck had passed into the city and was parked at the Tru North Service station. When Solon police arrived the truck was unoccupied. Patrol units set up surveillance on the vehicle.

Police then watched as man went back-and-forth between the unoccupied, stolen truck and another vehicle parked directly in front of it. The other vehicle was white and had Virginia plates, police said. Four people appeared to be inside the white car.

One of the men was seen running behind Carter Lumber, where he scaled a fence and escaped. The other man saw multiple police vehicles arriving on the scene and stopped running, police said.

Officers tried to corral the white car with the Virginia license plates, but it began to speed away. As it did so, the stopped man jumped through a window into the car's backseat.

Police managed to stop the car and remove everyone from inside the vehicle. Officers searched the car and the passengers, finding 27 pills in a plastic bag. Police said 24 of the pills were Oxycodone and three of the pills were amphetamines. Marijuana was also found in the backseat, despite one of the passengers trying to destroy it, police said.

Officers then searched the stolen truck and found a replica AR-15, with an empty magazine, as well as an empty, real AK-37 magazine. There was also a replica Desert Eagle handgun found under the driver's seat.

The driver of the stolen truck, a 25-year-old from Cleveland, was arrested on suspicion of receiving stolen property. One of the passengers in the car, a 20-year-old woman from Cleveland, was charged with possession of drugs and destroying evidence, for trying to hide the marijuana.

The man that ran behind Carter Lumber eluded officers, police said.
