Primary Election In Solon: What You Need To Know
On Tuesday, residents will select a new mayor for the city. Make sure you cast your ballot.

SOLON, OH — On Tuesday, residents of Solon will take to the voting booths for Primary Election Day. Polls will be open from 6:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. At the end of the tallying, Solon will have a new mayor-elect.
Voters will cast their ballot for one of three mayoral candidates: Jennifer Brush, Edward H. Kraus and Doug Magill. During a meet-the-candidates breakfast put on by the Solon Chamber of Commerce, each candidate was asked to list a top priority. Brush described herself as the education candidate, Kraus said property redevelopment and Magill said building a 21st century Solon.

The city posted on Facebook to note that each ward will have a unique voting location. Those locations are listed below:
- Ward 1 votes at the Solon Library
- Ward 2 votes at Our Redeemer Luther Church
- Ward 3 votes at Grantwood Golf Course
- Ward 4 votes at Solon United Methodist Church
- Ward 5 votes at Advent Lutheran Church
- Ward 6 votes at Solon City Hall
- Ward 7 votes at Solon Senior Center
