Principal Fred Bolden was promoted to a director job in the Solon Schools district office.

Bolden has been with Solon Schools for 14 years as a teacher and an administrator. He has been the principal at Lewis since 2006.

Superintendent Joe Regano said the district office will likely shift some front-office responsibilities in the near future, and that Bolden's role will likely be slightly different than Stupica's current job. Stupica is the assistant superintendent responsible for business development and personnel.

Regano said the administration will find a new principal for Lewis in April, when district personnel changes are made.

School officials thanked Stupica for his service.

"We do appreciate everything you've done," said Board President Margo Morrow.
