Purse, Wallet Stolen From Solon Shoppers
Two women had their money taken when they forgot their wallet and purse at Dunkin Donuts and Starbucks.

SOLON, OH — Two women had their wallets stolen from them after visiting businesses in Solon in December.
A Hudson woman went to Dunkin Donuts on SOM Center Road on Dec. 14. The woman left her purse at the business and left without realizing her mistake. She returned an hour later and found her purse had been stolen.
There was $250 to $300 in cash, a credit card, driver's license, and other miscellaneous ID inside her purse. Police said they tried to obtain video footage from inside the store, but discovered the new Dunkin Donuts owner had canceled their video storage service.

Four days later, a 16-year-old Solon girl told police she went to Starbucks on Aurora Road. She said she placed her wallet down and went to get cream and sugar for her coffee. Like the woman at Starbucks, the teenager forgot her wallet and walked out of the store without realizing she'd left her wallet.
