'Raised 20K For NAACP Legal Defense Fund': Solon Heroes

SOLON, OH — When times are tough, heroes emerge. We all know someone who's making a difference right now as we live through unprecedented and changing times.

Here at Patch, we've launched an initiative to help recognize these heroes making a difference in their communities. Together with Ring, we're working to let all your neighbors know about these outstanding people and their stories.

This submission concerns Solon-based artist Kittynaut.

Reason for recognition: Kittynaut is a Solon artist - in June, they raised over $20,000 for the NAACP legal defense fund. The fundraiser used art to support the Black Lives Matter movement.

One thing to know: Kittynaut is just one person living their day to day life like everyone else in Solon.
