Richmond Road Street Closure Impacts Solon

SOLON, OH — The Oakwood Villages resurfacing project begins Monday. The project will include work in Solon and will not be completed until mid-September. During the first phase of the project, Richmond Road will be closed at various locations. Street closures on Richmond will take place between July 24 and Aug. 7. Ronyak Paving, Oakwood Village's contractor, will be replacing culvert pipes across the road.

The reason different parts of Richmond will be closed is because of project structure. Ronyak Paving will be replacing four separate culvert crossing, one-at-a-time, meaning the point-of-closure will change throughout the first phase of construction.

Solon Police say the first point of closure will be just south of 6285 Richmond Road.
